SafeSpot’s Junior Board is comprised of passionate volunteers who dedicate their time, energy, and talents to support our mission. Junior Board members help raise funds, build community awareness, and engage their peers in our efforts to support child survivors and their families as they seek justice, build safety, and begin the journey to healing.

Nolan Dee, President
Nolan Dee graduated from Wofford College in 2020 with a degree in History and Finance. Since graduating college, Nolan has worked in the real estate development industry with Bonaventure Realty Group. He is currently a senior analyst with Bonaventure overseeing multifamily development initiatives in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast United States. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, running, and spending time with family and friends
Ryan Klaff, Vice President
Ryan Klaff is a Development Associate at Hoffman & Associates, a full-service multifamily development and investment company based out of Alexandria, Virginia. He earned his BS in Finance at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. Ryan grew up in Northern Virginia and now resides in Washington, D.C. He enjoys traveling, spending time with family & friends, and trying new restaurants in the Washington, D.C. area.
Andrew McClellan, Fundraising Committee Chair
Andrew McClellan graduated from Virginia Tech in 2021 with a degree in Business Information Technology. Since graduate college, Andrew has worked in the Consulting industry with Ernst & Young. Currently, Andrew is a senior AI & Data consultant within Ernst & Young’s Government & Public Sector. He primarily oversees government data modernization efforts. In his free time, Andrew enjoys hanging out with family and friends, as well as playing and watching various sports.
Benjamin Callanan, Governance Committee Chair
Benjamin Callanan graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 2019 with a degree in Government. He now works at CBRE as a market researcher, with a focus on the office environment in Northern Virginia. In addition to his membership of the Safespot Junior Board, Ben is also a member of the Steering Committee for ULI’s D.C. Young Leaders Group chapter, serving as the co-chair of the Service Committee. Outside of work, he is an active road biker, and enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends. Having grown up in the Annapolis area, he now works in Tysons and resides in Washington D.C.
Debbie Cross, Director at Large
Debbie Cross, a Northern Virginia native, was raised in Fairfax County and now lives in Leesburg, Virginia, with her husband and their two children. Her experience as a mother fuel her passion for supporting children’s well-being and contributing to Safespot’s mission to ensure safety and healing for all children. Debbie is eager to raise awareness in support of this this vital cause. Professionally, she is a part of Newmark, where she specializes in real estate leasing strategies and negotiations for both tenants and landlords. In her free time, Debbie loves exploring new parks and playgrounds with her children and enjoys fitting in yoga sessions whenever possible.
Claire Kelly, Director at Large
Claire Kelly recently graduated from George Washington University with a Master of Public Health specializing in communications and marketing, and she is exploring her next career path. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in American Studies at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Claire grew up in North Carolina and now resides in Washington, DC. She enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
